It was really lovely to see all the winning entries come in for the Design a Book Cover competition. Congratulations to the winners from each class in key stages 1 and 2 who each received a small prize for their work. Also, a huge thank you to Mrs Doyle, the school cook, who made some delicious book themed cupcakes for the children to enjoy.
21.5.18
All the children across the school have been invited to design a new book cover for their favourite book. Each child is also expected to explain why the book they have chosen is their favourite. Each class will chose a winner and each winner will receive a prize however all entries will receive a special book themed cake for their efforts.
Bee in the City competition
Congratulations to all the children who entered our Design a Bee competition. The School Council have looked at all the designs and have decided that, as they were all so good, one overall winner could not be chosen so a winning design for our bee sculpture will be created from taking ideas from the two winning designs. The winning designs were created by Matthew smith (Y5) and Ella-Rose Taylor-Dolan (Y3/4). Check the Arts page to see how our bee is developing as the art ambassadors work on it.
