Physical Education
Pupils have specialist PE coaching every week. Through this we develop the areas outlined in the National Curriculum: Fundamental movement skills/fundamental sports skills, Dance, Games, Gymnastics, Swimming and Outdoor adventurous activities.
The Early Years Foundation Stage children have access to outdoor play at all times. They have a range of ride on equipment; scooters, bikes and cars. They also have their own outdoor play equipment as well as games equipment such as hoops and balls to develop their motor skills.
Key Stage 1 children take part Fundamental movement skills, Dance, Games and Gymnastics plus an introduction to OAA.
Key Stage 2 children take part in Fundamental sports skills, Dance, Games, Gymnastics, Swimming and OAA.
In Year 3 and Year 4 children get the opportunity to learn to swim.
Children need to bring their PE kit (plain white t-shit, black shorts/leggings and trainers) to school in a bag with all items of clothing labelled, on their PE day.
