The whole school took part in 'Race for life' and had a great time running to raise money for an amazing cause.

The children had a great time and were all awarded a medal at the end of the race - well done to all of our fantastic children.

With Mr Keough, the children learnt the different body parts in French and played fun games recalling the body parts.

United Utilities , by Miss Dobie

Linked to our topic, extremes earth, United Utilities visited our school and gave a fantastic talk linked to water. The children learnt how much water is used throughout the world and how much water is used to brush their teeth. The afternoon involved lots of practical and hands on activities.

Happy birthday Albert Einstein! The children took part in a variety of experiments testing out some of Einstein's theories. It was a fantastic day and we ended the celebrations with some delicious cake!

As part of their learning during the summer term, the children have been studying Ancient Egypt. The children created fantastic projects in their own time linked to different aspects of Ancient Egypt. A huge well done to all children in producing creative and imaginative projects!

As part of their learning in English the children created their own jam sandwich and wrote a set of instructions explaining how to make a jam sandwich.

Jelly bean investigation!, by Miss Dobie

As part of their maths learning the children investigated the different colours of jelly beans in a packet. The children then recorded the data they had collected and created a tally chart. From the tally chart, the children were able to create a bar chart to represent the data.
