Reading Council
The Reading Council is made up of children from year 3 to year 6 and two Reading Ambassadors from Year 6 who take the lead role in meetings. The council meet regularly to discuss ideas, initiatives and events linked to reading, books, authors, poets, illustrators and ... more books!. The Reading Council have been involved in many things such as the development of the school library, the design of the book vending machine, choosing books for the reading scheme and much more. They promote a love of reading in their classes by initiating book talks and sharing information about books, authors and reading related competitions.
