Forest school session 3

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Miss Campbell - 4C Year: 2017 - 2018

This week, the children learnt to create a shelter using a tarpaulin. The children used a timber hitch knot and an adjustable slip knot to tie their shelter to trees and used used tent pegs to secure the four corners of their shelter. Even in the rain, the children had an amazing time and showed great resilience and truly embraced the wet conditions. Take a look at the children's shelters and their chosen activities during free play time.
